Both the Coolzy-Go and Coolzy-Pro weigh only 37lbs which makes them super portable and easy to move. They both use the same out casing so their form factors are identical.
Coolzy Internal Components
Both the Coolzy-Go and Coolzy-Pro portable air conditioners use the same high quality internal components. Coolzy-Go, to minimize the cost, uses a reciprocating compressor that is rated to 320w. Coolzy-Pro uses the latest rotary scroll compressor technology matched with a perfectly balanced pair of heat exchangers. This means the r290 refrigerant gas is used to it’s optimal ability as the entire system is tuned to suit the thermodynamic and chemical properties of the gas. The result is a machine capable of removing 1100 watts of energy from the air that flows through it making the CoP (Co-efficient of Performance) the highest in the industry. Note: Split air-conditioners do not provide any fresh air: windows and doors remain closed. Stale room air with odours, methane and carbon dioxide is recirculated all the time.

What is the Difference Between Evaporative and Compressor Air Conditioners?
An evaporative air conditioner (normally called an air cooler), works by evaporating water into the room. This uses very little energy BUT it also is less effective AND it needs to be filled with water regularly. Air coolers do not work in high humidity.
A compressor-driven portable air conditioner uses refrigerant to cool the air. Compressor-driven portable air conditioners are more effective at cooling and work in all environments.
What are the advantages of a mobile portable air conditioner?
There are several advantages gained from using Coolzy:
- Portability: Coolzy was designed to be portable, which means you can easily move it from one room to another. This is especially useful if you live in a small apartment or don’t have the space for a traditional air conditioning unit.
- No fiddly installation: Coolzy works out of the box and does not require any complicated setup. You simply plug it in, and it is ready to use.
- Energy-Efficient: Coolzy uses far less energy to keep you comfortable than traditional air conditioning units.
- Cost-Effective: Coolzy costs less over a lifetime of use. It is designed to last 10 years so will yield large cost savings for you.
- Eco-Friendly: Coolzy is more eco-friendly and sustainable than traditional air conditioning units. Coolzy uses less energy, which means it produces less greenhouse gas emissions. The r290 refrigerant gas has only slightly more effect on the climate than CO2 itself, and there is only about 100 grams in a Coolzy.
- Quieter: Coolzy is much quieter than traditional portable air conditioners. The quiet fan noise is comforting to fall asleep, especially with open windows.
Small air conditioners provide limited cooling. Therefore it’s important to understand this limitation and how to use these devices.
A small camping air conditioner cannot cool a whole room. A small room needs at least 10,000 BTU/hr cooling capacity because of it’s thermal mass (the walls and furniture). If you want to cool a small room, with no insulation, you will need at least 12,000 BTU/hr cooling capacity which would be a big, heavy (very un-portable) air conditioner.
A large room, with little or no insulation, will need ~18,000 BTU/hr to cool the whole space (more in hot conditions). This is highly impractical for renters as you won’t be able to remove the A/C.
An alternative is to focus the cool air to only cool the person (instead of the entire room). This saves energy and cost. A Coolzy uses patented focusing technology to focus a stream of cool air directly to the person as a result. The Coolzy’s focused cooling is much stronger than a regular A/C this is spending most of it’s energy trying to counter the effects of it’s super warming evacuation pipe..
A Coolzy requires only 340 Watts. It weighs only 15 kgs and doesn’t always need to be vented. This makes it a truly mobile air con unit.
