We try to inform all our customers about what Coolzy does and does not do, but we still get a few who think that Coolzy will cool a room and then leave negative reviews. In June 2026, several scam websites with similar names appeared, and these seem to be designed to trick people into thinking they were buying a Coolzy for about 150 Euros. Some received a tiny wall-mounted heater masquerading as an air conditioner! Many of these people took out their frustrations with Trustpilot reviews, not realizing theyt had purchased from coolizi.com, not coolzy.com. My main AC went out a couple of years ago and I have window units. the problem is the bathroom does not get any of that and is very hot. I bought a Coolzy to help. The AC part does work. The problem is the heat that comes from this unit. I also bought the exhaust hose kit and I am so glad that I did. The problem is that the heat it radiates is more than the air conditioning It puts out. What I did was go to the local store and get one of those car window shades with the aluminum crinkle foil look. I cut it to shape and wrapped it around. I have it venting out my bathroom skylight vent&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s only been operating for about four days now so I don&#8217;t know about long-term. It has a cool design feature that when the lid opens it turns on or it closes and turns off. I have it in my home office and use it in my RV for holidays. It&#8217;s pretty light and can be lifted easily. I find it doesn&#8217;t use much power and can run off a 12v battery if I use an inverter. It&#8217;s not noisy either compared to others that I&#8217;ve tried. It&#8217;s kinda like a little fridge with a fan in it. It doesn&#8217;t use water and can be used to remove water from the air. I was impressed by the effort the company put into communicating what it could and couldn&#8217;t do. I spent a lot of time verifying their claims, especially about power consumption. I also took it to Adelaide for a camping trip and used it to keep my wife and I cool in our Jayco Penguin in the evenings while we slept. All I can say is that it&#8217;s refreshing to see an Australian company trying something different and coming up with a product that does what it claims. I&#8217;m a high school science teacher and would give this full marks for innovation and execution. You need to be creative to manage the hot air coming from the back of the unit, yes, it needs some DIY effort, but at least you&#8217;ve got the freedom. I must recommend their tent product, makes my summer freezing all night every night. It was well packed and undamaged. The whole thing is about 40 pounds which is what they say on the website. The manual was a little skinny but I guess that&#8217;s cause the product is pretty simple. We got it out and plugged it in. It took a few minutes but eventually we could feel the cold air. We don&#8217;t really use it during the day cause we have a nice breeze in our house but the nights can be stinkin hot. We tried it last night for the first time and we&#8217;re pretty happy cause it&#8217;s super quiet. Only thing that can be improved is that it had as little light on the back that can seem pretty bright when it&#8217;s dark out. We just put some tape over it to darken it and it worked perfect. All up pretty glad we got it. Be interesting to see our electricity bill at the end of the month cause it says it doesn&#8217;t cost much to run. That&#8217;s pretty much the reason we bought it because our split costs a lot to run. Will update when we know.
