For every Coolzy sold, we plant a native Australian tree as part of our commitment to being environmentally responsible. The species that we plant are mainly native Leptospermum scoparium species endemic to Western Australia. This species is not only a beautiful plant but an excellent tree for carbon sequestration which is estimated to be able to sequester up to 70+ tC/ha (tons of carbon per square hectare)

The South West of Western Australia is a biodiversity hotspot. Sadly it’s under siege by climate change. Our goal is to do our part by planting trees, sequestering carbon, and making sure this gorgeous part of the earth stays healthy well into the future.
